At 12:25 we received a 999 call reporting a smoke detector actuating at a residential property in Illogan. One appliance was mobilised from Tolvaddon to investigate the incident. Further 999 calls were received reporting smoke coming from the property and that the occupant was trapped inside. The incident was made Persons Reported and additional appliances were mobilised from Tolvaddon and Truro and a wholetime Station Manager from Falmouth.

On arrival the first appliance confirmed smoke issuing from the property and sent a Make Pumps 4 assistance message. An additional appliance and Operational Support Unit were mobilised from Falmouth.
