Fire Control received a call to smoke issuing from the roof of a barn, Fire crews were mobilised from Truro and St Austell Community Fire Stations to investigate. On arrival they confirmed that smoke was issuing from the roof and confirmed an additional appliance was required which was sent from Newquay.
Fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus and using two hose reel jets extinguished the fire.
