Two fire appliances and a wholetime officer were mobilised to a fire alarm sounding inside a property. The caller looked through the letter box and confirmed smoke inside the kitchen area.

On arrival it became apparent this was a false alarm caused by a flea bomb.

If you plan on using flea bombs inside your property, please notify Critical Control prior to doing so to help us stop sending fire engines to false alarms.
