Appliances from St Ives, Helston, Penzance, and Mullion are currently in attendance at this incident.
On arrival a large field fire was discovered which was spreading to an adjacent hedge and field.
An assistance message was made requesting the attendance of a further two pumping appliances and water carrier.
Firefighters are making good progress and using hose reels to extinguish the fire.
