Reignition - Wild Fire. Make Pumps 6

Fire Service resources are in attendance at this location due to a reignition.
At this time six pumping appliances, a water carrier, Incident Command Unit, and 4x4 appliance are on scene.
Fire crews from Penzance, St Ives, Tolvaddon and Helston, along with a water carrier from Helston and an off-road light pump from Perranporth and the incident command unit from St Just were tackling a fire involving about 250 square metres of gorse, woodland and thick grass that was burning. The fire crews used hosereels and main jets to contain the fire using water that was relayed and shuttled to the incident from fire hydrants in the vicinity.
Relief crews from Hayle, St Keverne and Padstow have taken over and are continuing to hosereel jets to extinguish the fire.
