Two fire appliances from St Just, one fire appliance from St Ives and one fire appliance from Falmouth attended a fire involving a dung heap and wood. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hosereels and three monitors to extinguish the fire.
One fire appliance from St Just is still in attendance , using one monitor and one branch dampening down.
