At 01:06 crews from Newquay Fire Station were mobilised to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a lorry. On arrival crews found a 7 tonne lorry had collided with a building. Approximately 80 litres of diesel had spilled from the vehicle as a result of the collision. Crews used environmental protection equipment to mitigate the run off into mains drainage. Crews made the scene safe and handed over to police.
