The police requested the attendance of the brigade this afternoon, where it was beleived that a male had tried to set fire to a property in Camborne. An appliance from Camborne Fire Station was mobilised. When the crew arrived they discovered a strong smell of petrol fumes from within the property. The crew used a Positive Pressure Ventilation fan to ventilate the property, the crew also took measures to make the area safe.
