The brigade were called to a school in Perranporth this afternoon where a fire had been discovered. Two appliances from Perranporth and one appliance from Newquay Fire Station were mobilised to the incident. The attending crews discovered a small fire under an external stair well where they then used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was confirmed by the crews as being accidental.
