Road Traffic Collision - Two Persons Trapped

One fire appliance from Truro and the rescue tender from Tolvaddon were mobilised to a report of a vehicle that had come off the road and had gone over an embankment, with people trapped.
The fire crews were quickly on scene and confirmed that two people were trapped. Firefighters stabilised the vehicle and assisted the Ambulance crews with first aid.
Devon & Cornwall Police attended and the road was closed.
The first casualty was extricated from the vehicle by 1640hrs and placed in care of the Ambulance crews.
The roof of the vehicle was removed to extricate the second casualty by 1720hrs, and they were also left in care of Ambulance crews.
