Cornwall Critical Control received multiple calls stating smoke issuing from a property in Penryn. Crews from Falmouth were mobilised , supported by two officers. Once in attendance the crews stated the property to be well alight requesting an additional appliance. An additional appliance from Truro was mobilised. Crews have extinguished the fire on the first floor using Breathing apparatus, hose reels & main jets. South Western Ambulance also attended. This is all the information we have at this time.
***Update***
Crews have now left the scene and the cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
