House Fire

Dale Road, Newquay at 29/12/2022 14:12

The first of two fire appliances from Newquay Community Fire Station was in attendance within 6 minutes of the first 999 call to a fire in a house. A Control operator stayed on the line with the caller until they were safely out of the building.

The firefighters, some wearing breathing apparatus, used a hosereel to extinguish a fire in a room on the ground floor. The cause of the fire is accidental and there were no casualties.
