Fire Control received a 999 call from a member of the public reporting an alarm sounding in a neighbouring property and smoke issuing from the ground floor.
Two appliances were mobilised from Falmouth Fire Station and a wholetime Station Manager from Hayle.
On arrival, firefighters wearing breathing rescued one casualty from the property. In total four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the fire. All persons are accounted for. The cause of the fire was accidental and caused by a pan left on the hob of a cooker.
