Road Traffic Collision - Persons Trapped

Fire Control were called by police reporting a multiple vehicle road traffic collision on the A30 between Hayle and Camborne with one person trapped. An appliance and Rescue Tender were mobilised from Tolvaddon Fire Station along with a Group Manager from Truro.
On arrival crews confirmed one person physically trapped with leg injuries. Crews stabilised the vehicle and used crash rescue equipment to safely extricate the person.
The road was closed in both directions while emergency services worked on scene.
