On receipt of this call, resources from Launceston and Callington as well as a specialist appliance from Bodmin and two Officers were mobilised, on arrival, further resources were requested from Bude. It was confirmed that a cow had fallen into a slurry pit, crew worked in a confined space to assess the best method to recue the cow, once a plan was detailed a telehandler was utilised along with strops and lines and practical skills, to successfully recover the cow to a safe area.
