Appliances from Bude and Delabole were mobilised to this incident along with an officer from Launceston.
On arrival the building was found to be well alight and additional resources were requested.
Additional pumping appliances from Launceston and Bude along with a water carrier from Wadebridge were mobilised.
Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. One person was treated for smoke inhalation and a minor burn.
The incident was confirmed as accidental and confined to the room of origin.
