At 2142 Critical Control received multiple calls stating there was a building on fire in the St Merryn Airfield Area. Crews from Padstow, Wadebridge, Newquay, St Column & a Flexi Duty officer were mobilised. On Arrival crews stated it was a building used as a wood store measuring 8mx20m well alight. Crews used breathing apparatus and hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. This is all the information we currently have on the incident.
