The brigade were alerted this morning, where it was reported that smoke was seen coming from a domestic garage at Penwithick St Austell. Two appliances from St Austell fire station attended. The crews arrived to find the garage was well alight, two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire. The cause of the fire was accidental.
