Fire Control were called by staff reporting a fire in a commercial kitchen. Two appliances were mobilised from Bodmin along with a Wholetime Officer. On arrival crews found all persons had safely evacuated and the fire was out. Two firefighters in breathing apparatus used a positive pressure ventilation (PPV) fan to clear smoke from the premises. The cause was accidental and source of ignition was a deep fat fryer.
