Two major pumping appliances from Wadebridge and Padstow along with a light 4x4 appliance from Wadebridge were mobilised to this incident.
Firefighters discovered a smoke-logged building and after a short investigation found a small fire involving a microwave to be out.
A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to removed residual smoke.
