Two fire appliances from Newquay Community Fire Station attended a report of a fire inside a house. The first crew arrived within five minutes of the 999 call and confirmed that there was a small fire, caused by a candle, that was already out. Smoke logging affected the upstairs and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus ventilated the property.
