Both appliances from Bude were mobilised to this incident, on arrival crews found smoke issuing from a two storey property, further resources were requested, two appliances from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue were requested. The fire involved the kitchen and was believed to have been caused by a chip pan, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property with a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire. Two persons were treated on scene by Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel for the effects of smoke inhalation and then handed over to attending ambulance crew.
