On receipt of this call, appliances from Launceston and Callington were mobilised, repeat calls were received and the incident was declared 'persons reported', a further appliance from Saltash was mobilised as well as two officers. On arrival the first crew requested a further appliance, which was a second appliance from Saltash.
The fire involved a block of flats, with the fire spreading from one initial flat, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a hosereel were committed at the scene, it was quickly confirmed that all persons were accounted for.

Update 0103 hours: Further resources were requested to be mobilised, one appliance from Liskeard and the second appliance from Launceston, which had been covering Bude, were mobilised also a request was made for an aerial ladder platform from colleagues in Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue, which came from Crownhill, the operational support vehicle from St. Austell was also mobilised. Teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are fighting the fire using hosereel jets.

Update 0345 hours: The incident is now under control and being scaled down with resources returning.
