On receipt of this call, two appliances from Falmouth were mobilised, on arrival there were found to be a series of agricultural sheds on fire which contained vehicles and gas cyclinders, a further appliance from Helston also the water carrier from Newquay attended, further resources from Helston and Falmouth attended, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were deployed and used foam and water jets to extinguish the fires. Crews were delayed a considerable time at the incident, the last appliance returned to home station at approximately 2200 hours.
