On receipt of this call, three crews from St. Ives were mobilised to this address, on arrival the fire was found to be confined to the bedroom of the property and extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using a hosereel. One person was treated at the scene for the effects of smoke inhilation and for slight burns to the hand, oxygen therapy and burn gel was administered by Brigade personnel prior to the arrival of West Country Ambulance personnel.
