On the initial call for this incident, two appliances from Launceston were mobilised, on arrival the crews found that an acetylene cylinder was involved and further resources were requested, further appliances from Callington and Bodmin were mobilised also the command support vehicle from Truro and a specialist appliance from Bodmin attended. An exclusion zone was set up at the incident and everyone within a 200 metre radius was evacuated, two ground monitors were set up to cool the cylinder, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus inspected the area after the fire was extinguished to check that the area was safe. All appliances returned to home stations by approximately 1530 hours.
