On receipt of this call, one appliance from Truro was mobilised, a Brigade Officer who happened to be passing the incident at the time, confirmed that a large horse box was on fire and that it contained LPG cylinders. Further appliances from Newquay and Truro were mobilised, also water carriers from Newquay and Bodmin were mobilised, crews used jets to extinguish the fire and cool the surrounding area. Further information may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police, who were in attendance.
