Bottles Exploding

Firefighters from St Mawes were called to bottles combusting in a hedge. As a precautionary measure they maintained a 1000 metre exclusion zone until the content of the bottles could be identified.
The coastguard and EOD were contacted and it was established that the bottles needed to be exploded in a controlled environment by the EOD. The exclusion zone could be reduced.
Firefighters returned to the site this morning to assist the EOD.
