Appliances from Bodmin and Newquay attended a call to a single vehicle who had left the carriageway and was left stranded in a precarious position. The A30 was closed in the west direction for a time whilst crews used picket bars, ground anchors and a winch to recover the vehicle to a safe location. Once the vehicle had been recovered the A30 was reopened.
