Tumble Dryer Fire

Two appliances from Mullion, two appliances from St Keverne and one appliance from Helston Fire Station responded to this incident along with two whole-time officers.
On arrival crews found a tumble dryer fire. Two breathing apparatus under stage one, one hose reel jet and one dry powder extinguisher was used to tackle the fire.
With the fire extinguished crews removed the tumble dryer from the property and used a thermal imaging camera to check for any hotspots.
