Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service received multiple calls to a bus on fire on the A30 Eastbound near to Plusha.
One appliance from Bodmin, one from Launceston and the water carrier from Liskeard were mobilised, along with a whole-time officer.
On arrival firefighters found one bus completely involved in fire. Crews used two hose reel jets and 3 breathing apparatus under stage one to tackle the fire.
At 14:57 crews handed the incident over to Devon & Cornwall Police and left for home stations.
