Fire Control were called by the Ambulance Service at 14:55 for assistance rescuing a casualty who had fallen from height and sustained an ankle injury. An appliance was mobilised from Liskeard, Line Rescue Unit and Support Unit from Bodmin and a Group Manager from Launceston.

Crews were joined on scene by Cornwall Air Ambulance paramedics.

Crews were able to extricate the casualty back to a car park where they were handed over to the care of the ambulance service.
