Fire In Ventilation Shaft

Appliances from Bude, Holsworthy and Hartland attended a call to a fire in an extractor system used for welding. Firefighters located the fire in then vent and ensured that the building was evacuated and electrics isolated. Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a safety jet and a thermal imaging camera were used on the fire. Firefighters worked with on site engineers to dismantle the ventilation shaft and remove from the building. There are no more details available on this incident.
