Road Traffic Collision

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service Critical Control received calls from Southwest Ambulance Service and Devon & Cornwall Police to a road traffic collision, where 2 persons were trapped. Appliances from St Austell and Mevagissey were mobilised along with the rescue tender from Bodmin and a wholetime officer.
On arrival crews found two casualties trapped in their vehicle. Ambulance, Police and Air Ambulance were already in attendance. Both casualties were extricated by crews using crash rescue equipment and left in the care of Southwest Ambulance Service.
Fire crews remained on scene making the vehicle safe and the incident was handed over to Police.
