At 0650 Cornwall Critical Control received calls to a building on fire in the Poundstock area of Bude. On Arrival crews confirmed one agricultural building to be well alight and requested additional resources.

Appliances from Bude, Delabole and Holsworthy, with specialist appliances from Saltash, Wadebridge and Launceston are in attendance. Supported by two flexi duty officers.

Crews are using breathing apparatus and hose reels to fight the fire and prevent spread to neighbouring buildings.

Update at 1300- Good Progress has been made the incident has been downscaled to two appliances that remain on scene monitoring and preventing incident esculation.
