Critical Control received a 999 call from a resident who was trapped in their property, which was filling with smoke. Two appliances from Liskeard and one from Looe were mobilised and a wholetime officer.

One hose reel jet, one first aid kit and one thermal imaging camera was used to extinguish the fire.

The resident was left in the hands of Southwest Ambulance service.
