Two fire appliances from Liskeard Fire Station were mobilised to this incident.
The incident involved an oil fired rayburn in a detached bungalow. The crews used small tools, hosereel to extinguish the fire and gas monitoring equipment. They also had to use shack packs to attack the fire via the chimney pot.
The cause is believed to accidental.
