Two appliances from Tolvaddon and Hayle were mobilised to a report of a fire in a wood burner flue which had spread into a cavity wall. On arrival of crews confirmed that the fire from a flue had spread internally to a gable end of the semi-detached property. Crews requested a third appliance attend for breathing apparatus. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, small tools, a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and expose and examine timber within the wall.
