Two appliances from Bude attended a call to a fire in a property at 19:28 this evening. On arrival the crew confirmed there was a fire in a first floor bedroom of a semi detached property measuring approximately 4 by 4 meters. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus , 2 hose reels and one safety jet to enter the property and extinguish the fire. Positive pressure ventilation fans were used to clear the smoke from the home whilst one occupant received oxygen at scene for smoke inhalation.
