Two appliances from Bude Fire Station attended this incident. The incident involved a small fire located between the ceiling and first floor void. Crews cutting away to expose hotspots they used one hosereel and two thermal incident cameras. The log burner and hearth had to be removed due to residual heat and to make safe.
