Appliances from Penzance, St Just and St Ives, along with a wholetime officer responded to this incident.
On arrival a fire involving a kitchen was discovered and one person was rescued from the property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus sets used a hose reel jet and a safety jet to extinguish the fire and make the scene safe.
