Cardrew Industrial Estate, Redruth at 01/06/2024 07:31

We are currently in attendance at an incident on Cardrew Industrial Estate in Redruth.

Crews from Tolvaddon, Hayle, Perranporth and Falmouth, Truro, St Just, St Austell, St Columb, Helston and St Mawes are on scene.

The incident involves 3000 pallets and five shipment containers alight. The fire has spread to a single storey building containing cylinders.

Members of the public are being asked to avoid the area due to the large smoke plume.

Update 11:45 - The incident is now scaling back and resources are starting to leave the scene.
