At 13:11 crews received calls reporting a roof on fire. Crews from Penzance and St Ives were mobilised. On arrival crews confirmed there was a fire involving an kitchen extractor which had possibly spread to the roof. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a fire extinguisher and a thermal imaging camera. At 13:43 crews confirmed that the fire had been extinguished and property was being ventilated. Crews damped down hot spots and used small tools to cut away before leaving scene.
