One crew from Padstow attended a call to reports of alarms sounding and a smell of smoke coming from a flat. On crews arrival two breathing apparatus were worn to recover the occupant from the flat. A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the premise and the fire was identified as being caused by materials being left on a hob. Ambulance attended the premise to treat the casualty for smoke inhalation. There are no further details available on this incident.
