One appliance from Wadebridge was mobilised to reports of a bin on fire at the above location.
Members of the public had smothered the fire with sand prior to the Fire Service's arrival, preventing further spread. A hose reel jet was used to fully extinguish the fire.
The cause was found to be an incorrectly disposed single-use barbecue.
