Boat On Fire

Two appliances from Bodmin attended this incident, it involved a 10 foot long boat being towed by a car to its new home location.
On arrival the crews found the boat and trailer had been unhitched from the the vehicle and was stationary in a layby. The boat and trailer were well alight and crews used two sets of breathing and hosereels to extinguish the fire.
The Police were also on scene for traffic management and arranging recovery of the boat.
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
