Currently pumping appliances from Tolvaddon, Hayle, Penzance, along with the incident command unit from St Just, and water carrier from Helston, are on scene at a residential property fire.

Good progress is being made and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus are using hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

Update 18:40 HRS - Firefighters are continuing to extinguish the fire and a further pumping appliance from St Ives has been mobilised to the incident.

Update 22:00 Cornwall Fire service remain in attendance with fire appliances and a water carrier. All services to the building have been isolated and the fire is being fought defensively as the structure is unstable. Details will be updated as they become available.
