Due to the adverse weather, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service has dealt with more incidents than usual for a Sunday morning. The first weather-related call was received at just after 0900hrs, to roof tiles being blown off a property in Market Place, Marazion. Since then, fire crews have attended a further dozen calls that may be attributed to the weather, stretching from Penzance in the west to Saltash in the east.

Currently, the crew from St Mawes and a crew from Truro are dealing with separate incidents, and all other fire crews have returned.
