Critical control received a call from a member of the public at 20:43 confirming a house fire, and 2 appliances were mobilised from Helston and Tolvaddon, as well as a Station Manager.

On arrival 2 BA crews using 2 HR Jets and TIC entered the building and made it Persons Reported. A further appliance was mobilised from Tolvaddon.
1 male casualty was rescued from property with burns to hands and given first aid and was taken to hospital via family members.

The fire was extinguished and checks to other buildings carried out and advice given to neighbours.

Crews left the incident at 23:32 hrs.
