Fire fighters from Tolvaddon along with specialist water rescue equipment from Falmouth and Penzance attended a call to a female who had fallen 5 metres from South Quay, Hayle into water. On arrival crews confirmed that the tide in the quay was out and the casualty was on hardstanding. A triple extension ladder was used to access the casualty who was assessed by Paramedics, Coastguard and Firefighters. The casualty was extricated and left in the care of Ambulance.
